Black String Records is about to celebrate its first year of activity, started with the release of 'Close Your Eyes', the experimental ambient album by label head SLPWLKR. Having spent most of last year looking for like minded artists to join Black String, he now returns with two new tracks.The double kick drum on 'Deep Inside' melts with the syncopation of the off-beat hi-hats and the ambience of the hidden synth phrases. 'System Failure' is a cure for emotional crash: relief is provided by the multi-layered drones driven by minimalistic beats. The focus of this work is on our deepest feelings and how to slowly pull them back afloat.
